Onward, faith-based environmentalists
"The extent that we separate our children from creation is the extent to which we separate them from the Creator – from God," says Paul Gorman, founder and director of the National Religious Partnership for the Environment, headquartered in Amherst, Mass. We haven’t done a very good job of that. Christians are commanded to love their neighbors, and you can’t do that by polluting their air and their water."

Philadelphia owns nearly 1,000 gas hogs

If 900 of the SUVs were converted to sedans, the city would save $540,000 a year in fuel. The school district could hire 15 more teachers with that money. Read more Jump to Latest News
